You may be well aware of the various benefits of the papaya leaf but may not know how to incorporate this awesome product into your meals but if you keep reading, you will have no less than 5 ways to spice up your meals but also have this healthy extract added to it.

 

1. Papaya Smoothies

There are countless ways to make papaya smoothies to enjoy in summer.

One of our favorites involves a combination of papaya fruit, banana, yogurt, papaya leaf extract and ice cubes. Simply take these ingredients and toss them in the blender. Process until smooth. That’s it.

Pour into a cup and set your body on its way to perfect health and wholeness.

Drink immediately.

 

2. Natural Juices

If you like smoothies, the chances that you'll like all natural juices are high. Whether you buy or make your favorite vegetable juice at home, one way to take it up a notch is to add a tablespoon of papaya leaf blood support extract to it. Use this instead of honey or any natural sweeter.

3. Papaya Popsicles

Unlike your regular popsicles from the store, the homemade papaya edition will cool you off while providing a host of nutritional benefits that come with papaya leaf – high natural sugar content, a long list of vitamins, digestive enzymes you name it.

To prepare papaya popsicles, you will need 2 cups of diced papaya, 1/3 cup water, 1 tablespoon of papaya leaf extract, ¼ cup agave syrup and some popsicle molds and sticks (yields about 5).

Blend all these ingredients together, then take the papaya blend and pour it into popsicle molds. Stick a popsicle stick in there and put in the freezer for about 6-8 hours. When it’s time to serve them, pour hot water briefly on the outside of the mold for a few seconds to free the popsicles from the mold, and voila!

Papaya popsicles are a snack best served as a surprise (we think) – when they least expect it. They will love you for it.

4. Banana Ice-cream

Banana ice-cream is getting increasingly popular in the vegan community because it's an healthier alternative to diary ice-cream. This recipe is quite easy and simple to make.

All you need is a few bananas, 3 to 4 medium-size bananas will feed 3 people. Start by removing the peel of your bananas, place them in a ziplock bag to freeze overnight or for a few hours. 

Once frozen, put the bananas in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. At this point, add a tablespoon of your favorite papaya leaf extract and process for a few seconds. Place your icecream in the freezer and serve with some granola or your preferred toppings.

5. Tangy Appetizer

Got some prosciutto? Good. Take one ripe papaya and cut it into thin but meaty strips. Serve them with strips of prosciutto drizzled lightly with papaya leaf extract.

6. Papaya Sweet Salad

Get ripe papaya and dice it into sizeable chunks. Add to chicken, shrimp or tuna salad and drizzle with some papaya leaf extract. Enjoy! Replace your salad dressing with papaya extract.

7. Papaya Fruit Cubes

One tried and true method to transform your cubes from bland to tantalizing is to make papaya fruit ice cubes. They are incredibly simple to prepare and chances are you have everything you need to make them.

Pick ripe papaya, peel and take out the seeds. Cut into chunks, add some extract and blend into a puree. Add some water if it is too thick. Next, pour the pureed papaya into ice cube trays and freeze until firm.

Ta-dah – gorgeous, flavorful papaya-flavored ice cubes! You can also add this to your soups.

10. Papaya Boats

Take ripe papaya that is soft to the touch and slice it in half, lengthwise. Spoon out the seeds then dig out some of the flesh as to form a small well.

Stuff it with yogurt (fat-free if you fancy) and throw in some walnuts, raisins and chopped strawberries. Drizzle some extract on your papaya boat and enjoy!
